The Investment Company Institute's Board of Governors elected Andrew Schlossberg, Invesco's president and chief executive, to a second year as chair. It returned George Walker, Neuberger's chairman and CEO, to a second year as vice chair, the group announced Oct. 9.

Eight new governors were elected: Kristie M. Feinberg, president and CEO of Manulife John Hancock Investments; Michael Hunstad, president of Northern Trust Asset Management; Edward M. “Ted” Maloney, CEO of MFS Investment Management; Edmund F. Murphy III, president and CEO of Empower; Matt Toms, CEO of Voya Investment Management; Jeff Tarlin, senior advisor at Fidelity Investments; and independent directors Michael A. Forrester and Joseph F. Keenan.

The Insured Retirement Institute named Jill Hoffman its chief government and political affairs officer, with responsibility for IRI's federal legislative and political efforts. She succeeds Paul Richman, who retires at the end of the year after more than 11 years with the organization; Hoffman's Oct. 5 start gives her a roughly three-month overlap with Richman.

NAGDCA appointed Conradson Cleary board president. The Expanding ESOPs Coalition reached the 100-member mark. NAGDCA and ERIC have asked the IRS to route the Saver's Match through plan rollover systems, as this publication has reported.
